Welcome to Shea. By downloading or using the Shea app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Using Shea

Shea is a personal hair health tracking app available on iOS and Android. To use Shea, you must:

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You agree to:

Shea offers a free tier with core features and a paid Premium subscription that unlocks additional features including AI-powered hair analysis and Circles.

Subscriptions

Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) settings.

Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective refund policies. We do not control refund decisions for app store purchases.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Shea (photos, notes, product entries). By uploading content, you grant Shea a limited license to store and process that content for the purpose of delivering the app's features to you.

Shea is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI scores will be accurate. We are not liable for any loss of data or device damage resulting from use of the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shea's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Shea after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete My Account).
